Ive never broken a bike before

Until now. When swapping the ol'Niner over to a 19t cog recently I flipped the bike over only to discover...da da DAAAAHHH!!!!



You see it? right along the bottom of the chainstay. I reckon it failed because of the stress of the flattening on the chainstays in production. I spoke to Ryan at Niner and warranty wont be a problem. But here's what is: COLORS!!! So lets put it to a vote:

or Raw, which is the absence of paint actually. It happens to be the lightest paint option in Niners arsenal.

Wee tiny bikes

A favorite pasttime of mine (who am I kidding, I live for this) is riding kids bikes in the winter. The shop slows down a lot when the weather turns icy and what better way to deal with the tedium than race little kids bikes around the shop. I was encouraged to see this photo recently from the Team Columbia trainig camp, proving that I am not the only one smitten with the wee tiny bikes.
